Travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,600 per week
About the role
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Provide treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Carry out individualized plans of care
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercise, functional mobility, balance training, and neuromuscular re-education
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
- Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and clinic staff
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for Indiana licensure
- Current BLS Certification
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinic
