About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Oxon Hill, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform therapeutic exercises under supervision
- Administer treatments as directed by a licensed physical therapist
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (CPTA) from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy setting preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for patient care and rehabilitation
Skills
- Proficient in using medical software and equipment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology
Benefits
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
