About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting September 21, 2026, in Georgetown, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in the provision of physical therapy services
- Perform therapeutic exercises and treatments under supervision
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program
- Active and unrestricted professional license(s) and required certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence
Qualifications
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in computer software related to patient care documentation
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed

- Weekly Wages: $290.00
- Weekly M&I Per Diem: $366.32
- Housing Per Diem: $549.48
