About the role
Focus Staff is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week contract in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve their mobility and strength.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a physical therapy setting.
- Valid Arkansas license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and equipment.
