About the role
CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Colusa, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist in patient care activities such as preparing treatment areas, assisting patients with mobility, and helping with therapeutic exercises.
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as necessary.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of California.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
Skills
- Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
