Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant position supporting delivery of outpatient therapy services, implementing treatment plans, and assisting patients in mobility and functional activities under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Emphasizes safety, patient education, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment goals and programs.
• Train patients in gait and mobility.
• Demonstrate modalities.
• Monitor patient responses and document progress.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Follow safety and infection control policies and maintain a clean treatment environment.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Participate in team conferences and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited school.
• CAPTE certification.
• CPR certification.
• Active license for the state of Florida.
• At least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Preferred: Previous successful assignment with the agency or organization.

Schedule

Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week. Assignment runs from 09/14/2026 to 12/14/2026 (13 weeks).
