About the role
CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting July 11, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in an outpatient setting
- Assist physical therapists in performing therapeutic exercises and treatments
- Help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals under the supervision of licensed physical therapists
- Document patient progress and communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in South Carolina
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in outpatient physical therapy
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
