Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,420 per week

About the role

CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting July 25, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care in an outpatient clinic setting
• Assist physical therapists in performing therapeutic exercises and treatments
• Help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals under the supervision of licensed physical therapists
• Document patient progress and communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Florida
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Weekly payments are estimated and include hourly wages, meal and incidental expenses, and housing expenses incurred on behalf of the company. Benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance are in addition to the weekly pay.
