About the role
CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting July 10, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Assist licensed physical therapists in performing therapeutic procedures.
- Help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals through exercise and education.
- Document patient progress and communicate with referring physicians.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Florida.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.
Skills
- Proficient in using medical terminology and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The estimated weekly payment includes hourly wages, meal & incidental expenses, and housing expenses incurred on behalf of the company. Any benefits (medical/dental/vision) are in addition to the weekly pay.
Schedule
Shift: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
