About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a position in Birmingham, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in an outpatient setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Current license to practice physical therapy in the state of Alabama.
- At least one year of clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in computer software relevant to physical therapy documentation.
Skills
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
- Skilled in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
- Experience with patient education and discharge planning.
Benefits
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
