Opportunity

OT - Rehab Services
• Work a set schedule Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 24-bed unit with a workflow of one patient per hour
• Critical access hospital with predominantly swing bed patients in a rehab-focused environment
• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatments
• Strong focus on treatment rather than evaluation only
• Must have the ability to evaluate and treat patients admitted to the hospital with a strong rehab mindset
• 2 CNAs available per shift with a rehab tech available 20 hours per week
• All lift equipment available along with a large rehab gym with various equipment
• New rehab gym with fully functioning kitchen and laundry setup
• Ability to provide therapy outdoors
• Documentation system: Cerner
• May float to Eckerd Living Center if needed, located in the same building

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
• Scrubs required (no specific color)
• Required certifications: Standard OT state license and BLS

This critical access hospital features a dedicated rehabilitation services unit with 24 beds, offering a comprehensive rehab-focused environment for patients. The facility is equipped with modern lift equipment and a newly renovated rehab gym complete with a fully functioning kitchen, laundry setup, and outdoor therapy areas. The unit is supported by a collaborative team including CNAs and rehab technicians, providing a well-rounded care environment for both patients and healthcare professionals.
