Job Summary
A Physical Therapist is needed for an outpatient position in Payson, Arizona. The start date is July 27, 2026, and the duration is 13 weeks.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift with 8 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Physical Therapy degree from an accredited school.
- At least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
- CPR certification.
- Active/applicable professional license for the state where work will be performed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful completion of an assignment with the organization previously.
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients using clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans and goals.
- Document medical records in accordance with approved formats and applicable state, federal, and intermediary guidelines.
- Ensure care is delivered under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval as indicated for clinical care.
- Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients and design functional treatment programs supporting return to community activities.
- Act as an educator to patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
- Participate in student programming as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, learning objectives, and student evaluations.
- Maintain professional licensure in good standing and complete all state-mandated continuing education requirements while practicing in accordance with the discipline-specific professional code of conduct.
- Support professional growth through an individualized professional development plan and ongoing continuing education/self-study.
- Understand and follow the organization's performance improvement methodology and action plans, including providing feedback through appropriate forums.
