Responsibilities
- Performing comprehensive patient evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans aimed at progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay.
- Completing medical record documentation accurately, including goal setting, functional assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry, in compliance with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies.
- Providing supervision and mentorship to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Actively pursuing ongoing professional development through continuing education and engagement with professional organizations.
- Ensuring all care is delivered under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance authorization parameters.
- Adhering to the organization's performance improvement initiatives, contributing feedback to maximize quality outcomes.
- Demonstrating adherence to all safety policies, including safe patient handling and infectious disease protocols.
- Maintaining professional licensure in good standing and completing all state-mandated continuing education requirements.
- Demonstrating knowledge of the organization's performance improvement methodology and applying it to daily practice.
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.
- 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience.
- CPR Certification.
- Active applicable license for the state where work will be performed.
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks.
- Shift: 8 hours, days, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Start Date: 09/14/2026.
