Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist - $1,950 per week
Job Description & Requirements
The organization is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role also includes delegation and direction of discipline-specific therapy services, documentation of clinical care, and support for safe, effective return-to-community outcomes.
Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift; 8 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school;
- CPR certification;
- active/applicable license for the State where work will be performed;
- 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful completion of an assignment with the organization previously.
Additional Information
- Evaluates assigned patients and completes comprehensive assessments to develop treatment plan goals focused on progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay.
- Maintains timely and accurate medical record documentation, including documentation, goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in alignment with required guidelines and clinic policies and procedures.
- Ensures care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval as indicated and necessary.
- Participates in the student program as assigned and appropriate, including supervision and development of learning objectives.
- Creates an individualized professional development plan and pursues professional development through continuing education, self-study, and participation in professional activities and organizations.
- Adheres to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and other regulatory agencies, maintains professional licensure in good standing, and completes state-mandated continuing education requirements.
- Upholds professional and ethical standards and supports organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
