About the role
CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting July 24, 2026, in Schenectady, New York.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in an outpatient clinic setting
- Treatment of a variety of orthopedic, neurological, and sports-related conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN or proof of eligibility to sit for the exam
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and software applications
Skills
- Skilled in manual therapy techniques
- Familiarity with therapeutic exercise and modalities
- Knowledge of patient education and discharge planning
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
