About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for an outpatient orthopedic setting in Hoover, AL.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of a variety of musculoskeletal and post-op conditions
- Provide care to outpatient orthopedic cases
- Expect productivity of 60 visits/week, with 12–14 patients per day
- Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected
- Work 8-hour days, 5 days a week
- Floating to neighboring clinics is required
Requirements
- Active PT license required; if located in Colorado, an active Colorado state license is required as the compact PT license is not accepted there
- Date of birth required for consideration
- PTAs will not be considered for this position
- First-time travelers and new graduates are welcome to apply
Qualifications
- Outpatient experience is preferred but not required

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
8-hour day shifts, 5 days a week, starting July 13, 2026, for a duration of 13 weeks.
