Travel Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist - $1,861 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist for an outpatient clinic setting in Elgin, South Carolina. This is a 13-week travel assignment open to new graduates and first-time travelers.

• Setting: outpatient orthopedic therapy clinic
• 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week
• 36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours per week
• Productivity expectation of approximately 60 patient visits per week
• Typical caseload of 12-14 patients per day
• Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected
• May float to other neighboring clinics
• Option to join a Travel Team covering this clinic or a neighboring clinic

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic patients
• Overtime hours must be approved by the director before being worked

Requirements

• Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• New graduates will be considered
• PTAs will not be accepted for this role
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the clinic are accepted
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
