Travel Outpatient Ortho Physical Therapist - $1,879 per week

About the Role

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Ortho Physical Therapist for an 8-hour day shift assignment in Meridian, Mississippi. This 13-week travel position is open to new graduates and first-time travelers, offering a guaranteed 36 hours per week with the expectation of working up to 40 hours.

The role is based in an outpatient clinic setting within the Therapy unit, focusing on outpatient orthopedic cases. No floating to other clinics or on-call requirements are expected.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat outpatient orthopedic patients.
• Manage a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week, seeing 12-14 patients per day.
• Double-book follow-up visits as required.
• Obtain approval from the director before working overtime hours.

Requirements

• Active PT license (if applicable).
• Outpatient experience preferred, but new graduates are accepted.
• PTA candidates will not be considered.
• Date of birth required for consideration.

Schedule

• Shift: 8-hour days, 5 days per week (5x8hrs).
• Hours: 40 hours per week (36 hours guaranteed).
• Start Date: September 7, 2026.
• Duration: 13 weeks.
