Travel Outpatient Occupational Therapist - $2,588 per week

Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Valdez, Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in a variety of healthcare settings.
• Assess patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans to improve their quality of life.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and composure under stress.
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
• Pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred.
• Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure, especially during stressful and fast-paced moments in the healthcare setting.
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
