Travel Outpatient Occupational Therapist - $2,278 per week
About the role
The Occupational Therapist will plan and administer medically prescribed occupational therapy treatment programs for patients to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body part. The position requires strong pediatric experience as the candidate will work with both adult and pediatric patients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Evaluate patient needs and track progress during therapy sessions.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment techniques and home exercises.
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in Occupational Therapy with strong pediatric experience.
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapy License.
- Currrent American Heart Association BLS Certification.
- Previous travel experience is preferred.
- Must have a clean driving record and an insurable vehicle for travel between clinics.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of occupational therapy.
- Current Michigan Occupational Therapy License.
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.

Pay & Schedule
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
