About the role

Critical Connection, Inc. is seeking a travel Outpatient Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week assignment starting September 14, 2026, in Bronx, New York.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver skilled occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Implement individualized treatment plans focused on functional outcomes
  • Provide 1:1 patient-centered care addressing ADLs, IADLs, upper-extremity function, coordination, and fine motor skills
  • Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress to the supervising OT
  • Document treatments and patient progress accurately and timely
  • Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and home programs

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Active (or pending) state COTA license
  • New Graduate COTAs welcome
  • Outpatient experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset

Pay
