Travel OT Inpatient Rehab - $1,966 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab Occupational Therapist with 3+ years of experience and at least one prior travel assignment for a fast-paced, CARF-accredited rehabilitation program.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rehabilitation setting within an acute care hospital
• Day shift, 5x8 schedule with hours of 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Tuesday–Saturday schedule preferred; Monday–Friday candidates considered if willing to work one to two Saturdays per month with a flexible weekday off
• One weekend day of coverage required per month
• Patient population includes stroke, spinal cord injury (SCI), amputee, and general rehabilitation cases
• CARF-accredited rehabilitation program
• Floating required on an as-needed basis
• Cerner/MedConnect EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active Maryland (MD) OT license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of OT inpatient rehab experience required
• At least one prior travel assignment required
• Experience treating stroke, SCI, amputee, and general rehab populations required
• Two professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Benefits

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
