About the role

The Occupational Therapist will provide evaluation and treatment to adults and geriatric patients in an acute care setting. The role requires acute care experience and flexibility to float between multiple units including medical, ICU, and inpatient rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and create treatment plans for patients with diverse diagnoses, including multi-trauma, spinal cord injury, stroke, surgical, orthopedic conditions, and more.
  • Provide therapy interventions tailored to individual patient needs and conditions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain productivity standards while providing quality care.

Requirements

  • Washington state Occupational Therapy license (in hand at time of submission).
  • Acute care experience is required; experience in inpatient rehabilitation is preferred.
  • Able to manage a patient load of 8-9 patients daily.
  • Must be friendly, ethical, and an effective team player.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
