POSITION TITLE: Field Inspector CLASSIFICATION: Exempt Position Overview ADB is a Nationwide full turnkey provider of technology infrastructure solutions including Wireline, Wireless, Technology, Critical Infrastructure, and Engineering. ADB is seeking a Field Inspector to conduct daily quality inspections on various construction projects to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards, reviewing project plans to confirm adherence to customer specification. The ideal candidate brings a proven knowledge of utility construction standards and best practices, with a strong work ethic and an ALL IN mindset to drive results. Roles And Responsibilities Conduct onsite inspections for construction projects of various sizes and scopesInspect workmanship, materials, and installation practices for compliance with project requirementsIdentify deficiencies, safety concerns, or production issues and communicate findings to project teamsCoordinate with project managers, construction teams, and field personnel to address project issuesReview permits, right-of-way (ROW) requirements, and jurisdictional regulations for complianceSupport project management teams with real-time field updates and site condition informationPrepare detailed inspection reports documenting project progress, quality, and compliance resultsWork with vendors and subcontractors to address quality concerns and reinforce standardsProvide supporting documentation for installation verification and customer billing requirementsOversee and direct the work of internal field crews and external subcontractors onsite, exercising independent judgment to assign work, set priorities, evaluate performance against quality and safety standards, and direct corrective action to ensure project execution meets ADB and customer requirementsContributes to team KPI’s to align to the overall department and team scorecard successUpholds ADB’s safety culture, leads by example, and drives a philosophy of ZERO throughout the entire organizationPerform additional responsibilities as needed Success Factors Ability to travel nationwideA strong belief in ZERO - Being safe 100% of the time is the expectationAlignment with company mission, vision, and valuesA high level of customer centricityStrong work ethic with an ALL-IN attitudeStrong team player with the ability to adapt to diverse team membersAbility to perform in a fast paced/high volume environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA high level of time management, accountability, and prioritization skillsAbility to be organized, problem solve, and be solution orientedProcess improvement skills with the ability to streamline efficiencies within a team environmentSelf-motivated, goal- oriented, and driven to accomplish department goalsLeadership skills- ability to lead and motivate a team to meet project goalsProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) Work Environment Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions including climbing, sitting, standing, walking, and drivingRegular exposure to all weather conditions, especially hot, humid and/or rainy spring, summer, and fall weather combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditionsMay be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on sites of projects being managed or coordinatedWhen working on site, will be required to wear common PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hart hat, and safety-toed boots Experience And Education 1-3+ years of technical field experience required0-1+ years of field leadership experience requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredValid driver's license with the ability to travel nationwide is required The pay for this position ranges between $60,000 and $100,000 and is based on the candidate's skillsets and experience.
