About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Float Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Lafayette, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist in the preparation and administration of treatments, including manual techniques.
- Assist in the management of patient care, including monitoring patient progress and reporting to supervising physical therapists.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
- Floating to the YMCA as needed, attached to area Y.
Requirements
- OP ortho, post op knee, hip, shoulder, Low back/neck pain minimum 1 year experience.
- Preferred: manual experience.
- Type of patients on unit: post op, chronic pain, adult ortho/neuro.
- Must have BLS and State Licensure.
- Good team player, flexible, good work ethic.
Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year experience in orthopedic settings.
- Manual therapy experience preferred.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of orthopedic conditions and treatment modalities.

Pay
Details TBD based on market rates.
Schedule
40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
