Travel Ortho Tele RN - $2,680 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13‑week assignment in Morgantown, West Virginia. The position requires 48 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on immediate conditions or needs.
• Perform ongoing assessments and appropriate treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients’ families.
• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑op patients.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plan as prescribed.

Requirements

• BLS certification.
• 1‑2 years recent acute care experience (minimum 2 years referenced).

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 48.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

48 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts.
