This position involves working on a rotating shift schedule, including start times at 6:30 AM or 8:30 AM for four 10-hour shifts. Candidates should be prepared for on-call duties one night per week and one weekend per month. Responsibilities Assist in surgical procedures, scrubbing and circulating as needed. Demonstrate proficiency in totals, orthopedics, gynecology, and general surgery. Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain compliance with facility protocols and standards of care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Certification of completion from an approved didactic RNFA course. Minimum of three years of scrub and circulate experience in an acute care facility. Annual surgeon review completed. Proficient in Epic electronic health record system. Current RN license in the state of practice. Licenses/Certifications Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy. Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy (preferred). Current Professional Liability Insurance (PLI).
