Facility: Calais Community Hospital
Location: Calais, ME (Down East Maine / Border Community near Bangor)
Position: Registered Nurse - Operating Room / Perioperative Triple-Threat (OR, Scrub, PACU)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Standard)
Target Start Date: ASAP / 07/13/2026
Hours: 40 hours per week (Guaranteed)
Shift: Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts
Schedule Details: Monday through Thursday ONLY. Enjoy a locked 3-day weekend every single week!

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms for surgeries
• Monitor patients' vital signs
• Administer anesthesia and medications
• Manage post-operative care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current RN license in good standing
• At least one year of relevant experience in an OR setting
• Knowledge of perioperative care principles
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• Passing scores on NCLEX-RN exam
• Experience with sterile technique
• Basic computer skills
