About the role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room (OR) at Kaiser Redwood City Medical Center. This 13‑week assignment begins on 10/20/2026 and offers the opportunity to work in a high‑volume surgical environment that includes Neurosurgical, Functional Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, and ENT cases.
Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the OR, functioning as both scrub and circulating nurse as needed.
- Assist with surgical procedures across multiple specialties, ensuring patient safety and adherence to aseptic technique.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to coordinate case flow.
- Document nursing activities accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in pre‑operative and post‑operative patient assessments and education.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of California.
- Registered Nurse, OR certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience in both scrub and circulating roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- OR Level I certification.
- Trauma nursing experience.
- HealthConnect Scrub certification.

Pay
Pay rate: $3,151.00 – $3,313.00 (based on 8‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined).
Schedule
13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour evening shifts.
