This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and collaboration with surgical teams to ensure the highest level of safety and effectiveness during procedures. Key Responsibilities Administer anesthetics and monitor patients' vital signs throughout surgical procedures. Assist surgeons during operations by providing necessary instruments and supplies. Prepare the operating room by ensuring sterility and proper equipment setup. Manage patient care preoperatively and postoperatively, including assessment and documentation. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures and postoperative care. Qualifications Current RN licensure in the state of practice. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Strong knowledge and skills in perioperative nursing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and on-call responsibilities as needed. Shift Information This position offers both 8-hour and 10-hour shift options with a requirement for weekday and rotating weekend on-call duties.
