About the role

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to provide care in surgical settings with a particular emphasis on orthopedic procedures including knee and hip replacements, spine, hand, and foot surgeries. The position requires floating among five hospitals in New Jersey (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL) based on staffing needs.

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10 hours (06:00 - 16:30), with weekends and call in rotation with staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing patients for orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Perform circulating and scrub nurse duties during surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and provide preoperative and postoperative care.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the OR with a focus on orthopedic surgery.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with surgical procedures such as total hip and knee replacements, and spinal surgeries preferred.
• Willingness to float to various facilities as needed.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract & local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
