About the Role

Equiliem is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room position in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This is a travel assignment starting on 09/08/2026, lasting 13 weeks with 40 hours per week on a night shift (10 hours per shift).

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• 10-hour night shifts
• 3x12s or 4x10s (specify in submittal)
• 8-12 hours of on-call duty per month
• No block scheduling

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in the Main OR
• Handle a diverse patient mix, including:
  • Ortho trauma and spine cases
  • Neuro/Craniotomy for tumor (high preference for scrub and circulate experience)
  • Robotic surgery (Xi, SP, DaVinci)
  • Bariatrics: Gastric sleeves and gastric bypasses (laparoscopically and robotically)
  • Laparoscopic and open belly cases (benign and oncologic for GYN and general surgery)
  • Trauma cases
• Use EPIC for charting

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the Operating Room
• Scrub experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Certifications:
  • BLS (required)
  • CNOR (preferred)
• Local candidates accepted
