This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a full spectrum of surgical services, including elective and life-saving procedures across various specialties. Shift Information 10-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM Non-consecutive working days with random days off from Monday to Friday Weekend On-Call Requirements One weeknight of call every week from 7 PM to 11 PM One weekend on-call duty per month, rotating between: Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 7 PM to 7 AM Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 7 PM Job Responsibilities The Registered Nurse in this role will be responsible for: Providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to infection control protocols Monitoring patient vitals and responding to any changes during procedures Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required Experience in Orthopedic, General, Endo-Vascular, Urology, or OB is preferred Current Michigan nursing license verification is required BLS certification from AHA is mandatory Attendance Policy The organization has implemented a strict 3-strike attendance policy to ensure high standards of patient care. Any nurse who is absent from a scheduled shift or arrives more than 20 minutes late three times will face immediate termination. Exceptions for communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed favorably.
