Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room assignment in Des Moines, Iowa.
About the role
This 13-week travel assignment begins on September 14, 2026, with a 40-hour work week and 10-hour rotating shifts. The facility is a Level 1 Trauma center.
Responsibilities
- Circulating and operating room duties
- Experience in General, da Vinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma cases
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical systems
- Scrub experience (highly preferred)
Requirements
- 24 months of current operating room experience in a hospital or medical center
- Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate license at time of submission
- AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/American Red Cross BLS certification
- Driver’s License
- Completion of a travel assignment within the previous 9 months
- Skills checklist specific to Operating Room Nurse (scrub/scrubbing)
- Work history/resume must reflect 24 months of current operating room experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Neurology, Orthopedics (primarily trauma), Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, Ear, Nose, Throat, and Vascular cases
- Trauma Level I experience
- Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months

Pay
Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during the assignment.
