About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room assignment in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. The position begins October 26, 2026, runs for approximately 13 weeks, and requires 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room.
• Function as circulator for cataract and C‑section procedures.
• Operate the Orthopedic Hana table for total knee and hip arthroplasty cases.
• Manage emergency situations and assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed.
• Document patient care using EPIC (current within the last 6 months).
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficient case turnover.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of OR RN experience; at least one prior travel contract preferred.
• Current Wisconsin RN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Ability to work 10‑hour day shifts, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency with the Orthopedic Hana table.
• Experience with total knee and hip arthroplasty.
• Competence in cataract procedure and C‑section circulator role.
• Current EPIC charting experience (within 6 months).
• Ability to serve as charge nurse and handle emergency situations.
• Comfort working in a full‑service operating room with all service lines.
