Job Description

Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment starting September 14, 2026, working 36 hours per week on a 12-hour, night shift schedule.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required
• Must have experience scrubbing in Vascular, Orthopedic, Urology, Neurology, and Trauma surgeries
• Must have experience with robotic procedures including Colorectal, Gynecological, Neurological, Orthopedic, Otolaryngologic, Transoral (TORS), and Urology
• PA Single State or Compact license required
• BLS, NIHSS, and Trauma certification (TNCC or Trauma Course certificate of completion) required
• Must have experience with Epic charting system
• Can pick up on-call shifts if interested
• Block scheduling is not accommodated
• Accepts first-time travelers and locals within 50 miles of primary work location
• Holiday requirement is mandatory

Scheduling Details and Charting

• Shift: Weekends: Friday through Sunday, 7p-7:30a
• Charting: Epic
• RTO, Block & Scheduling Requests: All requests must be included at the time of submission; requests received after submission will not be accepted
• On-call requirement: No
• Locals accepted: Yes, with a reduced local rate

License and Certifications

• PA Single State or Compact license required at the time of submission
• Required Certifications: BLS; NIHSS; Trauma certification (TNCC or Trauma Course certificate of completion)

Clinical Skills

• MUST have experience scrubbing in Vascular, Orthopedic, Urology, Neurology, and Trauma surgeries
• MUST have experience with robotic procedures including Colorectal, Gynecological, Neurological, Orthopedic, Otolaryngologic, Transoral (TORS), and Urology

Unit Details and Floating

• Scrubs provided by the hospital

Additional Requirements

• Planned time off must not interfere with completing all required pre-start compliance before the scheduled start date
• PA Fingerprints required (refer to submittal instructions)
