Travel OR RN - $2,678 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse for an Operating Room position in Wheeling, West Virginia.

About the Role

This is a 13-week travel contract at a hospital, with a schedule of 10-hour shifts (12:00 - 22:00) and 40 hours per week. The pay range is $2,562.80 - $2,690.94.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a surgical preop setting within the hospital.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure proper procedures and patient safety.
• Adhere to facility policies regarding scrubbing and surgical assistance.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system (Sunrise with planned EPIC go-live on April 1).
• Manage patient assessments and support preoperative processes.
• Perform all procedures including same-day and overnight stays.

Requirements

• BLS certification.
• 55-70 required certifications.
• Surgical care knowledge, including robotics.
• IV skills and scrubbing experience.
• Preop care experience.
• Experience with EMR systems (Sunrise/EPIC).
