About the role
Aequor Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
- Ensure sterile technique and maintain aseptic conditions
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities
Requirements
- At least two proven years experience as a registered nurse
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Illinois
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current BLS certification
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of operating room procedures and protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
