Qualifications

Requirements
- Strong experience in total joints and ENT required
- Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Circulating experience in most of the service lines we are incorporating
- Scrubbing required - RN's no
- EMR: Epic - OpTime
Unit Details
- Unit: OR (Specialty)
- 1 suite, 4 OR rooms
- Number of cases per day varies per service line
- Common Cases: total joints and ENT (fall 2026), January 2027: urology, podiatry, hand-ortho, plastics, and pacemakers
- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: house supervisors scheduled 24 hrs/day, charge nurse when surgery opens
- OR techs: 6 surg techs, 4 PCS roles, 2 anesthesia techs
Schedule
- Shifts: 6:30-15:00 and 8:30-17:00, rotating every 2-4 weeks, plus a stay late schedule
- No nights, weekends, holiday, or call
- If scheduled stay late, required to stay until cases are finished
- Floating Requirements: none at this time
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: provided surgical scrubs - light blue, shoes dedicated to OR, OR hat and mask required
