Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care in the operating room
• Support surgical teams during procedures
• Apply clinical guidelines to ensure progression of care
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills in patient care

Qualifications

• California Registered Nurse license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) card
• ACLS certification (copy needed)
• PALS certification (copy needed)
• Minimum of two years of acute hospital clinical experience, or a master's degree in case management or nursing may substitute for one year of experience
• Ability to pass an annual inter-rater reliability test for utilization review products
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems recommended
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Prior operating room experience highly valued
• Two references in the last 12 months
• SSN and DOB required

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour day shifts
• Start date: 10/12/2026

Pay

Pay rate: $2531.00 - $2661.00 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined).
