About the role
Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Berlin, New Hampshire.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient, and accurate patient care in the operating room environment.
- Assist in surgical procedures as a circulating nurse, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Monitor patient status and provide immediate interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Schedule
- 4 shifts of 9 hours each, totaling 36 hours per week.
- On-call requirement: One day per week (rotating) and every 5th weekend.
- On-call hours: Weekdays from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM; weekends from Friday 3:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM.
Qualifications
- Must have experience as a circulating nurse and in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
- Experience in the following surgical specialties is required: General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Orthopedics, Ear, Nose and Throat, Urology, Cataract Surgery, and Podiatry.
- Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
Certifications
- Current BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA)
- Current PALS Certification (AHA)
