About the role
VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a Hospital contract in Olney, Maryland. The position is expected to start on August 31, 2026, last for 13 weeks, and will involve 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift.
Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room setting
- Assist in preparing the operating room for surgical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changing conditions during surgery
- Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Document patient care activities accurately and comprehensively
Requirements
- BLS certification
- 2 years current experience in General Surgery
- Travel experience
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in perioperative nursing and experience in the Operating Room setting. Experience in General Surgery is preferred.
Skills
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential. Proficiency in operating room equipment and technology is also required.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $2328.36 - $2444.78 per week, subject to confirmation.
