Schedule Day shift, 5x8-Hour (06:45 AM - 03:15 PM) Job Description We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in trauma to join our surgical team. The OR RN will provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and act as an advisor and resource for patients and their families. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various surgical services, including trauma, ENT, colorectal, plastics, neurosurgery, surgical oncology, and more. Responsibilities Provide quality nursing care in the operating room for a variety of surgical cases. Monitor and assess patient status during procedures. Administer medications and perform procedures as required. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and families about the surgical process and postoperative care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid RN license in Maryland or a Compact license. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an operating room setting. BLS certification required; ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications preferred.
