About the role
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) with robust experience in a Level II Trauma center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scrubbing and circulating during various surgical procedures, demonstrating expertise particularly in robotics and general OR cases.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
- Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and handle instruments appropriately.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and support staff.
- Respond to emergency situations and take corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an OR RN; candidates with 2 years may be considered if they possess strong experience.
- Current Maryland RN license or Compact RN license.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Experience with Da Vinci robotics and a wide range of surgical specialties including trauma, uro, ortho, plastics, neuro, and more.
- Epic EMR experience required.
