About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Tyler, Texas.

Schedule

• Shift: 06:30 AM – 11:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday; 06:30 AM – 03:00 PM on Monday (3 shifts per week)
• Call is minimal, requiring 1–2 shifts every 6 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of surgical procedures including but not limited to abdominal surgery, orthopedic, and neurological interventions
• Participate in preoperative and postoperative care planning and implementation
• Manage patient care in the operating room following best practices and hospital protocols
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in surgical nursing
• Experience in Orthopedics, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology required
• Travel experience is mandatory
• Familiarity with Davinci Robots, endovascular procedures, and eye surgeries is preferred
• Current and valid nursing license (State or Compact) must be in hand at the time of application
• Previous charge experience and familiarity with patient ratios in surgical settings
