Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons.
• Assist with preoperative and postoperative care of patients.
• Ensure sterility and safety of operating room environment.
• Prepare operating rooms for surgery and assist with setup of equipment.
• Monitor patient vital signs during surgery and report any changes to the surgical team.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience in OR setting preferred but not required.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
