About the role
The Registered Nurse will perform various nursing duties in the Operating Room (OR), floating to the main OR as necessary. This is a 13-week contract position located in Johnstown, PA.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and intravenous therapies as prescribed.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the operating room.
- Participate in call duties as required, including weekdays and weekends.
Requirements
- Current RN license in Pennsylvania.
- ACLS and BLS certification.
- 1-2 years of nursing experience in a surgical environment preferred.
Schedule
Shift: Monday through Friday, 06:30-15:00 with on-call requirements during weekdays and weekends.
