About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Amarillo, Texas. This is a 13-week contract position with a 4x10 Days schedule with rotating day off. Call required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care for individuals undergoing surgical procedures
• Assess patient needs and implement nursing interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Handle a variety of surgical cases and assist in the planning and execution of care pre- and post-operatively
• Administer medications and provide patient education
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition
• Assist in surgical procedures and related patient care activities
• Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality of care
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience
• Must possess a valid RN license (State or Compact) at the time of submittal
• Experience with Epic or similar charting systems is required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Qualifications

• Previous surgical/charge experience is preferred
