About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room assignment in Odessa, Texas. The assignment starts October 27, 2026 and runs for approximately 13.14 weeks (13 weeks). It is a travel position requiring 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts.

Requirements

• 2‑3 years of OR nursing experience strongly preferred
• Cerner experience required
• Community Hospital experience required
• LTAC experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Not accepting candidates within a 50‑mile radius of Odessa

Skills

• Experience with robotic surgery (DaVinci XI)
• Orthopedic, spine/neuro, general/gyn, ENT, ophthalmology, pain management, urology, vascular procedures
• Trauma Level 2 experience

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems based on nationally published GSA rates; actual pay may vary. The pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
