About the role

Travel nurse RN – Operating Room position at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine. The facility is a 250‑bed acute care teaching hospital providing advanced surgical services across many specialties. Lewiston lies in central Maine, roughly 35 miles north of Portland and about two hours from Boston, offering attractions such as the Bates College Museum of Art and the Androscoggin River Walk.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (Compact Accepted)
• Minimum 2 years recent operating room experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Social Security Number required
• Date of Birth required
• On‑call availability required
• One professional reference from entire work history
• Two years of Level 1 and/or Level 2 Trauma experience in any of the following: General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Urology, GYN, Bariatrics, ENT, Vascular, Robotics

Qualifications

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) systems (preferred)

Skills

Strong perioperative care skills are recommended; familiarity with EPIC EMR is a plus.

Pay

Pay rate: $2,192.00 – $2,304.00 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Start date: October 5, 2026. Assignment length: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 per week. Shift pattern: 12‑hour shifts, days and evenings.
